Yep. While everyone has a different colour, ghost types are an exception. He can see here a ghost type is, but can't tell them apart due to their lack of living aura (applies only for pure/primary ghost types).

Mostly Petie's pessimism and his (more or less) negative views on certain things . Or maybe it just seems so compared to Jules's. If you had asked that during the Junior's wedding story, the purple would've been notable more dominant color.
