I have to draw some backgrounds, or at least design some environments (which is easier tyvm)...and maybe I'm just making it harder for myself, but wow that requires a lot of research. Have a WIP page, though, I think I'll keep it as it is (maybe toss in different sketches for some) and do an additional page with more of a properly constructed composition of something final.
Hopefully they are more process oriented than result oriented; I think so.
FUN FACT: the majority of current characters for this game idea have long arms. I'm not worried though, I've designed what, only 5 characters/races so there's much to come, to offset that. I actually want the cliff lizards to have long legs too, but they generally stand with them very bent, so they look short. They are raptor-like in inspiration, but individual characters should be based on misc. lizards.
Researching an' thumbnailin'. I think maybe for a final, have a vertical pan BG to show the full height view of the village between some rocks, as if looking from the ground (in the hero's perspective).
