Thanks to Seberhusky for the links showing me what it is. I had never seen any of these before.

And from looking at the pics that isn't the original running gear underneath. Most likely borrowed from an old Chevy Suburban.

I remember my father trying to buy one of these back in the early 70's,but my mom talked him out of it.Cool truck!

I love these! They're so cute in an ugly bulldog type of way. I have yet to see one in person, though.

They had a van version of this model that never made it to production. There are some historians that think if it had gone into production it would have become the van that started the van culture of the 60's rather then the VW doing it.

I remember seeing a few of these a while ago in some of the hot rod shows. I thought they were cool and had potential.
