I need a new sax for the reenactment and hirstorical fencing, so here the raw grinded blade. The blade is inspirated by Owen Bush and his replica of the staffordshire seax blade. This is going to be also a replica from that seax but without the granatstone inlays.
Bladelenght: 45cm
The blade is forged from 5 bars: two twisted, a serpent and a layerdamask, as edge i use a railroad steel.
Next step is fine grinding.
