It would've been unintentional if anything; I didn't use any musical source material for this one.

Flare channels music... Not Better way to explain it. I over catch hints of familiar melodies that just a step or two off or never fully develop. In a way I think that's why it's so haunting at time and so emotionally charged and potent.

I hear heroism, happiness, life and courage. However, I also hear despair, pain, suffering, fright and sadness. It seems like you were able to pull what we talked about and re-write it as music. You were right, it was interesting. :)

And, while one could certainly memorize every note to play and when to play it, there is still something to be said about how you mix your soft melodies with your strong chords. The bass emphasis where it's needed... the light nuances of progressions... the repetition to drive the emotion... it all fits together so perfectly.

I see a factory. The raw ore being brought in, smelted, refined, prepaired, shipped, manufactured, refined, polished, packaged, shipped, and waiting on the store shelf.

Desolation only at the end while waiting to be useful.
