Here is just a piece I tossed together. I know I know some of the details and proportions are off, but I was originally doing this as partial practice of how to different details, and I eventually rounded it out into a full blown picture.

Essensially the idea is that this is an unamed wolf is getting prepared for some bloodsport. Think something like the anchient romans and the collisium, so he's usuing full blown gauntlets rather than gloves, and it is to be a beat down... the winner survives... so what did he do to get into such a situation? Deal gone wrong? Commited some crime... I dunno.
