These are amazing, and I agree, doing studies from photos are just as helpful as doing real-life drawing (but let's face it, with animals you're lucky to get a few gestures). If you need some more meat to your studies, photo references are great, and these drawings really show great skill!

Hahaha, Morro might not be a great guide for standard Shiba looks, but she's still really distinctly a Shiba Inu. That's.. something, right?

These are great though. God I love your pages of sketches. Your style is somewhere I'd like to get to at some point, if I ever convince myself to stop drawing cartoons long enough to focus on putting effort into it again.
I'm really digging the one just in red, looking down at the viewer from atop DogHead Mountain, it's definitely my favourite. (other than the chubby headed puppies, aww.)
