This here is a bit old, actually. I drew it sometime last year, inked it earlier this year, and just now got around to coloring it. It took me forever to decide on his damn color scheme.
Anyway...
This here is Solar Man. He's a Megaman fan character I originally made over ten years ago. I never really stopped developing the character. It seems I was making a new version of him every year.
He exists in an alternate version of the original Megaman time period. In this reality, at some point after Megaman 2, a mysterious virus shows up on the net. This particular virus was designed to add to itself (and every copy of itself), useful aspects of any program it infected. Many robots were infected, due to having wireless connections to the net. Eventually Megaman was infected. When this happened, it added to itself, Megaman's advanced copy ability. It was then able to copy his freewill circuit, emulating it's abilities. The moment that happened, the virus switched from being passive, to active. Installing itself into the core programming of every robot it had infected. This in turn caused them all to have the same freewill as Megaman. Dr. Light was able to stop the virus, but he was unfortunately too late. By this time, it had infected 80% of the world's robots. This caused large scale confusion among both robots and humans. None of them knew what to do. Once again, Dr. Light was able to step in with a solution. 20 years later, robots have integrated into society. There are robots living in both human cities, and cities with mostly robots. The first, and biggest of these robot cities is Lightopolis.
Solar Man protects this city from anything that threatens it. His primary nemeses being the organized crime family, The Wilys. Former Dr Wily robots that have decided to continue their evil ways. Their leader goes by the name Boss Man.
Solar Man is a superhero. He has a secret identity, which is named Jet. He doesn't really know much about himself, since before the time he woke up on the edge of the city, in his Solor Man armor, with his support unit, Pheonix.
