Posted the grayscale digital version in my gallery somewhere.. Finally got around to penciling the damn thing.
Joslyn's pencils are complete, but he'll need a full background to be put in before he gets his final inks. Most of my pix with full backgrounds hit this stage at one point or another. I have a bad habit of doing the character in-entirety first before so much as touching a background. In his case, none was originally intended but he looks so out of place on a backdrop so stark. Jos requires dirt, landscape and a gritty dock setting of somesort. Once I decide on just what the background will be, I'll get back to him. For now, he'll just have to hang out and be useful as a pencil progress example. ;p

I think the hard hard type are Prismacolor Veri-Thins or something. I like those a bit just because they keep their points a lot longer, but then they're also harder to blend than the softer ones. :P Either way I never had the patience to get as smooth a shading job as you get with them! :o
