Yeah, this is what I've been working on during the recent week. I do have to thank Eragonewild from DeviantArt for this. While I was whining about my little contest with free art and how it doesn't attract as much attention as I had hoped for... he came in and asked if I could do a commission for him! This really was a great thing, cause it did encourage me a whole bunch. This means that there are people out there who want art from me and are willing to pay for it. NOW, of course this doesn't exactly mean I'm always available to take these sort of commissions, I have college after all, but you know... this was the winter break between the semesters, so I used my chances. This is also very good for the future, because I surely won't be able to get that big internship every semester, so it sure would be nice to have a chance to earn some extra cash like this on the side, cause we have a crisis, so it's hard to get a job, especially with me being in college and not being able to get a full job. But ehhh I digress!

This was quite a challenging thing to make. Eragonewild came to me asking to fuse 2 characters of a different artist (we have the permission, no worries):

Oh and also turn him a bit more muscular.

I used quite a lot of references, asked a few people for advices.... and yet I still feel like I didn't do good enough! But the Eragonewild still really likes it, so that's what matters. I feel a bit satisfied because of how it came from a "mah" sketch to something a bit special.
