So, I decided... oh what the hell... I'll post a picture of my new ride. The legacy of Grancho lives on!!! (Those of you that know me well will know who Grancho was)
Anyway, I just acquired myself a red 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with a 6 speed manual transmission (cause if you're going to Wrangle around... you gotta do it right). This is my third car, and my second Jeep, and I'm certainly beyond glad to be behind the wheel of a Jeep again. Having a Jeep as a first car is rough, cause then that's really ALL you want after that. LOL.
Anyway, it's a pretty straight forward Trail Rated TJ, the only thing power on it is the steering, exactly what I wanted. No frills, no stupid power everything, something simple and straight forward that won't have a million things that will break on me.
Anyway, sorry for the dark, grainy picture. I'll get some day time shots in soon, I needed at least A picture for now to flash around. And yes, the top is down. Me, my mate and best friend decided to go out for a cruise around town at one in the morning. There's certainly something to be said about living in Florida, when you can drive around with no roof in the middle of February in a T-shirt and shorts. :D
Anyway, that's about it for right now. I haven't stopped smiling all day. Hehehe. It's been a pretty damn good year thus far.
Who wants a ride? It's like a hayride... only way more fun. And less itchy.

i used to own a red jeep too x3 a 1991 YJ, 6 cylinder manual http://sharkplane77.deviantart.com/.....Jeep-195121551 had to sell it though cuz it was kinf of a lemon ^^;
YJs get so much crap for the square headlights, but honestly they're my favorite model jeep, definitely the most aggressive looking in my opinion XD plus Jurassic Park...enough said x3 i even had the same tires x3

Ah... very nice. Honestly, I like the round lights over the squares. More reminiscent of the Willys and CJ Jeeps. Plus, the YJs had a lot of notorious issues. More than just the usual culprits of rusting body panels. Cams rounding out was always a big one with those as well as differential issues. But as for the lights, no big surprise probably (Jeep fans seem to flock together by some supernatural forces), but I myself have an '05 TJ. In Red with the unkillable 4.0 I6 and a 6 speed standard.
