OMFG, she is soooooo cute!!! Will she allow you to pet her, or is she hostile towards you?

She lays on my lap and wants to be petted, or brushed. Absolutely adorable! Really hope to get her a good forever home.

While at the shelter, Grey was deemed as "unadoptable' because she didn't show well. She was extremely terrified and the only way anyone could touch her was to make her a towel-wrapped burrito. She now loves attention and scratches... starting first night here!

Not the terrified part, but the fact that she isn't scratching you! :P

I love grumpy cats... I was prepared for some scratches and bites, but couldn't ignore her plight. Without some help, they would eventually have to put her down. :( All because she was scared. Makes me wanna cry whenever I think about that!

I get tear-eyed when i see the commercial on animal abuse... Who, and why would these people do it? Makes me want to vomit in terror.

Since I have gotten involved with our local shelter and also helping to reunite lost pets with their owners, I have been seeing even more of it... it really is sick. I have no idea how a person could derive pleasure from harming another living creature, an animal who trusts us to love them and do what we can to make their lives easier. Even the poor stray who happens to find something to eat in your trash can... then gets yelled at or something thrown at them, when all they wanted was a bite to eat. Granted, none of us want our trash ripped into, but I'd rather have to pick up trash and curse under my breath than chase a hungry animal away. My friends and I have even helped some raccoons at the lake when they got stuck in a big dumpster trying to get picnic leftovers!
