Indigo is another pirate captain.
So Nymph is associated with the color purple, for obvious reasons. She’s the princess of a kingdom called Lavender, she wears purple all the time, etc. So I themed the other characters around colors as well. Indigo is associated with blue (duh), and she represents Nymph’s more feminine side. Redfeather (who will be posted later today hopefully) is red (also duh) and represents Nymph’s masculine side.
Agrava and the big bad are associated with gold and yellow, the complement of purple.
If you’ll notice too, Nesbit is dressed similarly to Nymph and in a similar red-blue-purple combination because she’s the closest to Nymph. Cecil and Gurney are associated with green because they’re the odd ducks.
I just thought it would be fun to include a little detail like that!
Anyway, about Indigo herself: She’s a pretty famous captain. She keeps her crew in top shape and pretty much allows them free reign as long as they do what they need to when the time comes. She’s charismatic and disarmingly charming, but it’s hard to tell how much of that is genuine and how much is an act to throw people off guard. She doesn’t like getting her hands dirty and prefers to sit back and give other people orders. So she’s a bit lazy, which makes sense because, y’know, cat.
