Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 is perhaps my favorite piece of classical music ever, and arguably one of my favorite songs of all time, especially the Prelude.
This song has a powerful calming effect over me, no matter what state of mind I'm in this piece can always seem to bring me tranquility and peace.
I play it all the time, so it's a wonder why I never recorded it before.
So here's my arrangement of the prelude for classical guitar. I still think it sounds leagues better played on Cellos, but oh well lol.

Heh, to each their own I suppose. I just tend to find the deep tone of the Cello more suiting to the piece. Although perhaps I'll experiment with a few more unique guitars, could probably work up a better arrangement of the piece down the road.
I find playing classical music, or simply in a classical style to be somewhat therapeutic. While it's fun to belt out power chords and shred, there's a certain relaxing element to classical picking. Feels more personal in a way I suppose -shrug-.
