Oooh, I just read this and your introduction to the setting! Awesome. :D I've always enjoyed the idea of more limited, esoteric powers playing a larger part in a world of superpowered creatures. It's great to see another furry writer actually pushing to start writing about such a world though. Perhaps it'll provide me the incentive to write something about my own comic-book hero inspired folks. o.o

I was inspired on this by  graveyardgreg's Gaming Guardians and Powergamers comics. More specifically, the forum and IRC roleplay based around them.

This is my skunk character's home setting, where his day job is a photographer, but he used to be part of the well-regarded Gamma Team.

The New Step is supposed to be part of his going back to Gamma Team to take it over after the last leader died. In theory.

Unfortunately the team I created aren't furry. They're my 'I swear I'm gonna find a way to pitch this to DC one day!! I swear!!' fantasy. :D

*nods* What I've got here, can easily be turned/changed into all human with a few exceptions. I even know how Uriel looks like as a human, for instance :3

Oh! Shameless PS now that I think about it. Did you manage to look at that story I e-mailed you yet? I wouldn't be so obnoxious about following it up, but I'm not sure when the submission deadline is and wouldn't want it to slip through the cracks. :D

Deadline is April 9th. And no, I haven't. Been kinda... stressed. @.@

Love the story so far. I've never been into SuperHero Stories that much, but I like the concept. I look forward to future post.
