A black and white ruffed lemur, inspired by, well, lemurs. The setting was inspired by Ankarana in Madagascar, and the clothing was supposed to be inspired by the tribes of Madagascar. I really want to color this but only if I can get it to turn out well. Ideally it'll come along beautifully and I can then sell it as a poster, which is how this piece is meant to be displayed. At its full size it will be 20x14. I figure I may very well adjust it to be a desktop wallpaper as well. I left a lot of lines I would normally clean up here I think it may enhance the piece as a whole once colored, so its a bit of an experiment. Hope you guys dig it. ^_^

We saw some lemurs when we went to the zoo up in Erie and it made me thing of this, and wonder how it was coming along. One of the lemurs they had was a black and white ruffed. I actually think you can pull it off looking very neat, even if the colors end up a little bold. I loved the black and white contrast ont he little guy, he was gorgeous! And if you think of it, Madagascar is a bold and colorful place ^_~
