This is a Raikou bag i made out of the patterns for that famous 2000 GIANT Raikou plush! it has a lined interior with a cellphone sized pocket, and the black crest is a pocket too! in the pics it doesn't show, but it has the two front circles glued on (:

i THINK you can fit books in this one, the thing is that the opening is narrow compared to the bag :/
one of the times i used it, it had inside: my phone, the charger, my DS with case and accesories, my huge ass purse, my super big keychain, and it still had room for more stuff xD the bad thing is that when you fill it with lumpy things, Raikou's face looks terrible :'D

if you do a bag, put a layer of that stuffing-like fabric between the lining and the outside of the bag, so it's sturdier and it won't get deformed so easily. Can't remember the name of the material but it's like stuffing in fabric shape n_nU in spanish it's Guata...
Raichu would be a cool bag, but i'd love to see what you come up with, non-pokemon-wise :D
