The small dish is a container for traditional red ink for a family stamp (like the small marble pillar on the far right side.) I mainly got it since I was born in '88 and since this is the year of the dragon (if you don't get the connection look up the chinese zodiac)

The last little this is a solid pillar of marble with a chinese hound chiseled into the top (no the hound isn't a separate piece) and it has kanji/mandarin on the underside.
