I started to build the detachable fur cover for my fursuit head. The fur has been sewed by hand. Sew-on snaps are used to hold it in place. I used this method for several fursuit heads - it does take more time to build it this way, but it makes cleaning the fursuit head so much easier. It's also possible to build several covers (with different patterns) to use one mesh head for more when one fursuit.
