Elasto; the scrapped pages, part 1
So I figured I'd give folks a little taste of my current huge project, Elasto #1! Yes I'm really planning to go through with it, make a comic book! The project has been on hold, what with moving and Anthrocon and commissions and stuff, but now I'm starting to get it back off the ground again.. draw Elasto at work, draw porn (commissions!) at home.
Anyways, about six pages into the project, I got the comic art boards that I'd been lusting after, and in all honesty, I like the way the pages on those are turning out way better, so I'm going to have to toss the first six pages and do them over. Pain in the butt, but I think it'll be worth it!
Anyway, for the teasers, this is the first page after a bit of a flashback, telling the reader just how Elasto (Bren Griffin) wound up with super-stretcho powers.. A strange meteorite crashed through the window of his apartment and smashed into him.. his body absorbed it and he gained amazing powers from the strange addition! Unfortunately, the force of the collision had literally spread him all over the apartment.. here he's pulling himself back into shape.

These are actually very very rough still, hadn't even inked them or done much of anything, the only reason anything is typeset here at all is because it was completely illegible as it was. I have every intention of cleaning the finished versions up and making them as eye candy as I can.
I really like the look of these couple teaser pages. I think elasticity is awesome, so seeing a comic with that as the main character's power is going to be sweet, especially in your style.
The poses and stretchy-ness all look great so far. I especially like the completely stretched apart look in this one. Can't want to check out the final product!
