Here in this picture, D. Dan uses his sword and flips his fellow dueling opponent high in the air. Duals among the elite young knights tend to use advanced and over the top moves worthy of any anime or manga. The result of the dueling and intense practice is that both knights get excellent training all the while their skills do not falter nor rust over time. ^\/^.
The opponent in question is the same poor sap in the picture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6829638/ and, in terms of an anime, is the comic relief type by whom gets knocked around the most and such. The good news is that all that punishment will eventually make him one of the finest tanks among any other knights in the kingdom. ^\/^.
After all, in D. Dan's world more punishment upon one self makes for a strong endurance and natural armor. D. Dan himself, as a young knight in training, received a good thrashing from time to time and his body is now bullet proof and nigh impossible to cut. ^\/^.
The other guy shall catch up fast due in no part from D. Dan's ungodly strength and talent for dominating his opponents fully. LOL. ^\/^.
The picture in question was inspired by one of Raphael Sorel's new Critical Edge move in the new Soul Calibur 5 game. It looks so cool with the look and perspective, especially on the D. Dan character I made that uses the Raphael style, that I just had to make a drawing based off of it. The falling rose petals at the end makes for an epic touch. None in this picture shown though. LOL. ^\/^.
