I got this for  BlackDwaggie and myself to celebrate our first Valentine's day together. The emotion of the picture and the sheer scale of the background really take my breath away, and the attention and care of the artist amaze me every time I look at it. The original description I gave was "cuddling together under the night sky on a hilltop surrounded by open fields of wild grass blowing in the breeze." and I think she did a wonderful job.

To those of you out there upset because you don't have someone, I've been there, it hurts, but don't give up on yourself, or those around you, when the time is right, you'll find the one for you. I went through ten years, and more pain than I ever care to remember to get to Bemmy.

And my attempt at prose for Valentines day:

Love isn't fancy dinners
and it isn't champagne and roses

Love isn't movies
and it isn't cuddles and kisses

Love isn't sex
and it isn't pleasure and toys

Love is more than that
It is peace of the heart and soul
It is a warm place in a cold winters gale
It is stability in a changing world
It is a friend beyond simple friendship
It is someone you truly believe in that believes in you
It is someone to share all these things with and to build so much more
It is more than any words could encompass

I love you Bemmy, more than I could ever say, it took us ten years... but we're getting it right <4
