It's an age thing, I swear. When you're in your twenties, it's other people being all lovey and snuggly when you have nobody. When you're in your thirties, it's everyone else your age having kids and a family - except that being around kids so obnoxious you're glad you don't have that is a lot more frequent than having to be around screaming couple arguments. God only knows what it is for your forties, I'm not looking forward to that.

We should chill out and be sweet singles! I think that it's actually a little bit rude since even if other people are comfortable and in a relationship it is kind of an imposition on them. Not to mention that extremely public intimacy is kind of counterproductive. At the same time I just don't really know what to say or do, I end up just feeling sort of bad because I know that any sort of negative feeling would just be out of loneliness or jealousy even if I don't want it to be.

I get jealous pretty easily, and then I just feel childish and dumb, but I can't help it, especially when they're (unintentionally) rubbing it in my face all the time. The fact that they aren't even a couple is what really bothers/puzzles me, since the girl still tries to act all single 'well i've never had a bf either, sam'. Bullshiiitttttt
