Poor Kyrina didn't even have a choice...Sparky's Notesonly Draggy would understand this one. The battle was won, but Rae and Theo had the last laugh.
For Kyrina to become something she's not. For her to feel something she's never known. Anger. Hatred. Apathy. It was either this... or let Rae and his little army torture her, with her knowing Draggy was watching. They wouldn't even let her disappear. They WANTED her to be something she's not.
Upon doing so... she regains her guardian form... though instead of pure white angel wings, they were black angel wings. The good thing to this though, this doesn't make her 'dark'..hell, even the wings are still soft as ever.
But its just a sign that not even the angels are looking after her. Even if she was one of their own.

To me it also sounds like the melody in the middle is when she finally does embrace it.
