He is a phoenix and the scale belongs to a dragon, yes. It IS difficult to identify him as a phoenix: he's just about the only phoenix in all Eterno who's gray. Most phoenixes are colourful and have a shock of colour in their hair that matches their plumage. Dice is a freak.

Oh my god, this is Dice? He looks so different.. Otherwise I would not have asked as I knew he had that weird grey thing going on where you cant tell. Wow.. Well.. Great look. He has a bit more meat on his bones.

We'll just say he gets a career change that requires a little more... cardio. It happens over a long period of time so he won't just suddenly go to looking like this :P

Nine is definitely a puppy dog. Dice is bird-like in his mannerisms, but a bit hard to portray that in what is essentially a pinup lol! Fear not, he doesn't get the haircut for a very long time anyway. Only when it becomes a nuisance to constantly have bangs in your face.

We have different taste! I hate long hair on men for the most part. I rejoice when it's cut. About the only long-haired men I've found sexy were Viggo Mortenson as Aragorn and Gwaine from Merlin :P

I generally am the exact polar opposite, but within reason. no hair down the back or something crazy, but a nice layered emo haircut or something in a such reasonable length around the ears is highly preferred. xD I've never fancied a short haired man in my life ;A; I cried when I saw brad pitt bald LOL

When I saw this and I saw the title.... I literally did a mental double-take.
While I think this looks a bit odd to me, it's probably just cause I'm used to seeing CrankyDice with his shaggyness, lankyness and glasses. If he becomes a better person through love, then all the more power to him :3
I bet anything that Nine had something to do with his build. Probably nagged at him every day to eat healthy and exercise XD

Nine definitely nags him to EAT, though not necessarily healthily. Nine is just a pig and a big supporter of Dice eating his cooking. He's perfectly happy with Dice's scarecrow build, he tends to go for that type. The exercise just comes with the lifestyle ;P

You paint skin BEAUTIFULLY! I'd never be able to get to this point in shading skin/fur...ANYTHING for that matter so I envy you a lot. lol

On a different note, is that a scar on Dice's arm? I thought during his burnings (which are every hundred years?) he loses things like that and gets a fresh start. Does that mean that this one stayed there even -after- a burning or has he not had one to erase the blemish yet? I take it Nine also has this same mark if they are bounded at this point?

Wouldn't that suck though, if Nine keeps all these marks when Dice gets to be rid of them and looks brand new each time he burns. Nine would probably get pretty pissed if Dice was the reason for them all the time too since he wouldn't have to worry about them later. lol "OMG AGAIN?!"

Hehe, you are very observant (and you remember a LOT of what we've said in streams I see XD you're awesome). I'll try to answer without giving away what the mark is. He gets it before Nine and he are bonded, so Nine doesn't inherit that particular mark, but if it were to have happened to Dice while they were bonded then yes, Nine would have it too. Most everything is purged from a phoenix during their burning, but this particular mark is permanent. If a scar or mark is more than just skin deep it will stay :P

Oooooou, now I am definitely curious about said mark. lol and of course I remember the stuff from the streams. They are awesome, YOU are awesome, and I love this story/these characters!

im mentioning the area where the hip starts to flow down to the crotch and merges with the bottom of the stomach,
and the shoulder/neck area, i believe these to be the most sexiest areas on a guy, and in this painting dice has them perfect

I love your human stuff way more than your furry stuff, not to say that your furry stuff isnt good.. you can just see your OWN style come out in the humans that i can really appreciate <3 I need to get back into humans, my furry crap is being influenced by everything else on the site and i need a break
