The blue Lanshen is her father Alric (All-Powerful, Ruler of All) the former King of the Silver Phoenix Empire. He was an honorable and fair ruler, loved by all of his subjects. Alric was the one who brought the Fendras of the Broken Fang Mountains into the Empire through peaceful negotiation and marrying the daughter of the Fendras chieftain.

Gervas (Spear-Servant), the red Lanshen, is her elder brother by several minutes, and was the Crown Prince. Cocky and arrogant, he was not as popular with the people as either his father or sister and was often jealous of the love the common people showed Lorelei.
