And now to roll into the feel of the holiday... I present to you something commissioned at last year's FurFright: the Egyptian Lunar Goddess of Cats, Men, Pregnant Women, Children, Perfume, Lost Lore, and Sex... GODDESS BASTET!

While normally one would see the Goddess in a position that more of less lives up to her portfolio over the domain of Carnal Knowledge... it's not her own skill. Even Bastet likes to relax sometimes, just sit back and enjoy life around her.

And so this Valentine's Day, while love is in the air and most people are ready to get their freak on... just take a moment to stop, take in what you have and appreciate the one you're with or what you have in life. Sex is wonderful... but it's also nice to slow down, sit back and smell the proverbial roses.

It may be corny at times, but it's true. Sometimes it's not about the destination but the journey. And after 300,000+ years... Bastet has learned all too well that there was more to herself than just going after any man or woman she wanted. She has come to enjoy her regal presence and being taken seriously.

I know I'd kneel before her. :3
