Kobold Vermin (or Kobalos, as I'm calling them) are quite quaint in nature. They live in super simple huts made of slopped together mud walls with an opening for ventilation, sometiemes bigger to house multiple kobolds. They also sometimes live in caves, or wooden structures, but mud ones are simpler than wood.

They're reasonably cheery when they're not being exploited and they legitimately love mining - it's fulfilling and they love finding shinies. They're typically not very literate, and they don't really mind, as they have little need to write, signage and things not neccessary when you've memorized your tunnels and mines.

And of course they get a few scuffs and scrapes, but no bother, it's all routine business when you're digging for shinies!
