D. Dan and his family have quite a few pet gryphons. The ones in question are from their ancestral homeland of Adleria. There are two kinds. The first are from the northern mountainous areas that have bulky bodies and wings for gliding along heavy winds. And the southern plains type that have no wings and have a more long cat like body than the northern kind. ^\/^.

Both make good pets in that they are extremely loyal and protective of their masters and the Adlerians are their closest kin. The negative part, as shown in the picture, are that they can and will let their owners know when they are the least bit hungry at any given time of the day, including the middle of night. ^\/^.

Here the Dan family pet gryphons are giving off their usual wails and cries for food that make an alarm clock alarm sound nice. In addition, they are acting with displays and expressions of grief and 'Poor Me' that are exaggerations of their actual feelings. D. Dan awakens at around half past 1 AM and reacts accordingly. LOL. ^\/^.

The rocks they are laying and sitting on at the moment are their favorite perch stones near the stable they sleep at at night. It is also in close proximity to part of the manor that the Dan family lives in. The part of the manor in question is simplified for speed and a basic look for the picture. ^\/^.
