Nemo watching and waiting for a hand out...or for me to drop something haha.
Foreward note: I'ma ramble about raw eating for a while here, if you have nothing nice to say about it please don't say anything; go back to enjoying your burger king.
For about a week now I have been focusing more and more on raw, whole foods. It's something I have been curious about ever since I went vegan, and although I still love my vegan daiya cheese (and my vegan pizzas) I'm backing off of these processed foods and making them my "sometimes" treats. I'm having a lot more water, pure fruit juices and only having soda (which I used to have at least two cans a day) once a week at most. I'm exercising for at least 40 minutes a day (sometimes twice); it feels wonderful. What started with a "fresh fruit cleanse" (http://www.freshfruitcleanse.com) to help lower my stress and anxiety has progressed to exploring more about raw foods. I'm loving it! This mix here was my lunch (in addition I had an apple) a mixture of spinach, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli and some blueberries (which are a superfood) to give it a slight punch of sweet.
Rethinking breakfast, lunch & dinner "staples". In my opinion, it makes more sense to have your heavier meals EARLIER in the day and have something that's lighter in the evening. I mean, is it just me? I feed my dogs twice a day, they get homecooked ("wet") AND dry food for their first meal, and just dry (crunchy) at night (and a smaller portion) Not counting the treats they may get throughout the day. It just seems more logical to "fuel up" at the start of the day so you can burn it off throughout your day, than to have a heavy "dinner", then slouch around and go to bed, and not use any of that "fuel". Has anyone else considered this? I think, after today, that's what I might start doing. It just makes more sense. If I get hungry later in the night I can always have some raw fruit, something that won't pack on a lot; something that cleanses the system.
Any thoughts and opinions on eating raw are welcome, but if you're just looking to troll or diss on raw/veganism please don't bother posting cause I'll just ignore it. Thanks! :)

That actually looks really good. I eat meat, but some of the vegetarian things that my girlfriend cooks up have opened my eyes to that sort of cuisine. A lot of it is pretty tasty.
You're absolutely right about eating heavier during the day, for the same reason they say you should snack on things at night before you go to bed. You load up on calories and you're not burning them off while you sleep like you would if you were at work/exercising throughout the day. I try to keep from doing that, but the amount of soda I drink pretty much negates any dietary tactics I try to use. lol

Oh I hear ya, I was (still am) a soda freak, but I'm really trying to back off...only had two last week (instead of my usual two a DAY) and plan to only have one can a week from now on. Doing okay so far, all I had to drink today was water and some v8 juice. I'm a "fruit addict" so doing the fruit cleanses (and just adding more fruit to my daily meals in general) is pretty easy. Not a huge vegetable fan, ironically enough, but the lunch I had today was good (I do love spinach, carrots & mushrooms, and the blueberries helped to mask the broccoli lol)
Whaaaaat? You don't like broccoli? lol. I love it. Yeah, my three beverage vices are in order: Coca-Cola, various Teavana teas, and single malt Scotch. I do need to drink more water, that was all I had to drink (besides various fruit juices) during basic training in the Army, and I was in great shape then. Then my caffeine addiction caused me to wreck it all, lol.
