I think one restaurant in Vermont charges you more if you really, really MUST have the chemically
laden artificial syrup instead of the Vermont real stuff. ("Vermont Maid" brand, my butt!)
On New Yrs Day, went up to Vt. and one thing I did was have brunch at a sports bar in South
Burlington (Pour House). Blueberry pancakes--with REAL VERMONT MAPLE SYRUP, sausage--and a couple
beverages of malt, hops, and barley. Pancakes 'n' beer (and watching the Pats and several
other games). Heaven!
