Yes, I designed my own pony. And NO she is not a Rainbow Dash fan character nor is she related.
She's blue because thats my fave colour ( look at Halo's hair!), her hair is orange, yellow and pinky/purple because when I was younger Sunny Daze was my favourite pony and as shes not in the newer show its a tribute to the coolest pony ever. AND the blue stripe in her tail is a tribute to my fursona. The cross wings is a sign that she is a good lstener and is always there to help those in need - like an angel ( hence white wings in the shape of a heart).
Please please stop TELLING me my character is a 'Dash clone, shes not, shes an Earth pony to start with >_<.
She currently is unnamed. She has a very similar personality to AJ but can be very similar to Pinky ( hyper happy bouncy). I was thinking of something like " Spring sky" but it seems too calm- suggestion below please!

Firstly a recolour is still a recolour regardless of why you chose the colour.
Secondly if it is a lighter shade of blue then it is only very slightly and hardly noticeable.
Thirdly She also has the exact same hair style as Dash, Surely if you picked this because of your love of Sunny Daze you would have had the hair look more like hers.
I'm not being a 'douche', I have no problem with people using recolours for there character (Like I said, I do it) But claiming that your character is not a recolour when it so clearly is will inevitably get you comments like these.
But hey, keep denying it if you like.

Actually the hair style is a generic mane. Look at derpys mane >_>. I chose that style because I have long scruffy like hair, its nothing glamorous like sunny dazes. This style of pony was simply to personify me, the personality, colour, hair etc. I'm sorry if this offends you. Frankly looking at your character I see barely any resemblance. You've mearly chosen the same style of hair as Trixie. I don't think your character is a re-colour at all. I'd say its a unique stylised character. I didn't draw this piece, I drew a picture, took a photo and sent it to the artist. In the actual piece I drew the colour is considerably lighter. Similar to derpy but not as grey looking. I didn't ask Sophie to change it because I liked it and as a first commission that wasn't expensive I honestly didn't care that the colour was off a bit and if I'm honest the purpley colour in her hair should infact be pink but again its how the artist saw it ( infact most my regular furry commissions have minor differances to the actual design for my husky self but I really don't mind its the artists own interpretation). I have more commissions currently being drawn and the artist knows its a pale blue not a bright light blue. You will see as and when its finished by what I mean. I'm denying its a re-colour because I like having creativity in my designs. I understand how people can see the resemblance, even I do but I do stress highly none of it was intentional. I prefer AJ to Dash! lol But yeah, believe me, don't believe me I honestly stopped caring XD just enjoy the art that will be one its way and keep up with your art ^_^. Although I need to ask...
I -have- been entertaining the thought of making her colour like an aqua blue-ish/green instead but not too sure if it'll work. What do you think? I prefer blue as a colour but gah I am fed up of the "hay thats dashes sister" accusations. I was also thinking maaaybe a light yellow ( I like yellow too ^_^) But that'd mean I'd have to choose a new eye colour. Also, if I can bother you for a name suggestion I'd really really appreciate it :3. Maybe I should just make lots of ponies that way I can have all the colours I like ^_^;;;
lol god this comments page is full of drama , this must be the doing of drama llama. :3 also *puts on flak jackets and riot gear* i do think she LOOKS like, rainbow dash in my honest oppinion (and thats all it is)
