You spelled it "matcha" on the first post, so I thought it was some odd ref to the Ringo Starr film "Caveman". (Matcha was their word for food, if I'm not mistaken. We all know what zug-zug was...)
Though what in hell Ringo Starr has to do with a Tea Ceremony I don't know. --And it's a fudged tea ceremony in any case. They would not use a raised tea-caddy like the one I drew. I had a momentary fit of cultural dyslexia.

It is written with a "t" but is not pronounced fully so I have this tendency to type it without the "t". You also forgot the mill to grind the leaves into powder. Also I do not know of this movie "Caveman" I do on the other hand know a few people that can be describes as "Cavemen".
Now my dear student pay attention! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matcha

Very interesting. I would like to hear/read the Japanized pronunciation of this word, since I know this stuff, but the word you use seems unfamiliar.
Anyway, you NEED to see "Caveman". Old movie. !984, I think. Staring Ringo Starr, Dennis Quaid and Richard Moll --plus a host of real weirdos. Silly, silly thing, but rather like an ugly dog in that you love it anyway.

Well I will put that movie on my to see list. My rather long to see list, got quite the movie collection.
As to the Matcha I can really advice you to make some ice cream with it. I absolutely loved it when I first tasted it especially since you can only find it as an in-kitchen artisan product in some restaurants.
