I always wondered about that curious, crossbow-like weapon Chewbacca is wielding.

...Also, Chewy is already a "furry," so he works both in and out of this crossover.

I like how the artist interpreted Chewbacca as well. The crossbow gun has a sort of mixed history. If I recall correctly, it did fire darts as well as energy bolts, but I have seen a version in the comics where it had an energy string that would propel the energy bolts in crossbow fashion. It looked cool.

First off, Slick, to see it's a homage to the classic promo photo from the first film is a good thing indeed - back when I was just a teen, seeing Han and Chewie in this one on posters, bubble gum cards and all the rest got the blood stirring. Second, it's a dead on send up of our favorite nearly-piratical pair and you got it done pitch perfect. What a great sketch!

Now - Slick, cut in the auxiliary power. That's no moon... it's a ... well, OK, it IS a moon but how soon can you make the jump to hyperspace? :)
