It's been a while... In 2011 I only drew a handful of pictures, this being one of them. I drew it in December while I was visiting Charha in Finland. I don't have a scanner at the moment, so I had to take a photo of this, but will change the submission file once I've got a decent scan.
EDIT: Now changed from photo to a scan.

Very busy with stuff, hence I've really not had a whole lot of time to draw. It took a year to sort out the flood, although our house is awesome now, and I've spent a lot of time and effort in trying to improve my condition and be less reliant on pain medication. I'm making some progress, although it's very slow. :) How are you?
I didn't know you guys got flooded out. D: That really sucks. I'm glad to hear you're back on your feet again, and that you're making progress with your joint pain. <:3
I'm doing pretty well. I've almost completed a 3d animation course, and Darker got a job for a game company over in britland, so things are looking good. :3

I'm glad to hear that you're doing well. :) Any plans for you to move to England or for him to move to NZ? 3D animation course sounds awesome. Any plans for the new Hobbit films to be in 3D? I'm sure you'd make awesome dragon animations.
Yeah, our house flooded just after Christmas in 2010 (while we were away in Finland of course) and we had to move out for 7 months while the house was completely regutted. The last repairs were finished just before Christmas and we're still doing some improvements. But at least now we have a beautiful house (with a decent central heating system), which has been mostly paid for by our insurance company. ^_^

That's good that insurance paid for most of it, at least. :) Glad to hear they didn't try and dick you over.
They are filming The Hobbit movies in 3D, actually. 48 frames per second 3D as well, so it'll be noticeably smoother compared to regular film's 24fps. I'm going to be graduating at the end of the year, so who knows? Maybe I'll manage to snag a job for Weta if they hire more people to help with the 2nd part of The Hobbit! Still not sure how the move is going to work, to be honest. We'll have to see how things are once I graduate. If he's got a good job over there, I'll try and move over, but at the same time, I'd love to stay and get a job at somewhere like Weta.

The insurance company did try to screw us, but we hired someone to negotiate with them on our behalf and he was worth every penny of his fees.
It would be pretty cool to work on the Hobbit. Maybe you could post me couple of elves going sprare. ^_^ I heard that after they finish the movies, they are going to open the Hobbit village to public to go an visit. That sounds like a really awesome thing to see.

Yeah, I think it's great they're going to open up Hobbiton as a public attraction. It makes so much sense and it'll let people have an explore.
I still think you should be able to rent one of the hobbit houses to live in for a few days. Too bad they're just a doorframe and a small hole. P: The sets are stored elsewhere.
