now theres the contrast your pencil works where missing! i like it .....:P i know i say that a lot but its good, even more so for a first try.

You have done very well for your first time...a couple suggestions though. two things that are big...A, unless you do something special with them, or eliminate then entirely, keep your outlines dark and strong. Only other tip so far, is don't be afraid to give a more dramatic color change between lighted and shaded areas....through a sharper contrast and it will richen the piece, i promise

I was abit lazy even though I spent days on this, when it came to some of the outlines. I only rewhent over the outlines for the clothing, not the fur... It proved to be alittle of a mistake.

As for the contrast, your right.. from far way you would'nt be able to tell for crap. I'm working on the "Ejoyable Company" Picture in PSP9 as we speak, and I am going ever every line in that one.
