I've been a bad wolfy. I adopted this cutie from r3d-d4nte's adopt resell. I wanted him when cadaver. originally sold him, but got beat to him, so I couldn't resist when I saw that he was available again.

His name is Kashmere, and I do believe he'll be joining Maru, Amaranth, and Hazel investigating crimes and such.

He's a cute little Nekoboy who likes sweets and nude moonbathing.

Bio: Kashmere grew up on the streets of one of the Midwest Megalopolises after his mother abandoned him to please one of her many boyfriends. He turned to thievery to survive and stuck to it even when most of the other homeless kids his age turned to prostitution. Despite his flirty nature, one of the ways he'd distract marks when picking their pockets or stealing from shops, he isn't easy to get close to. Having grown up with no one to trust, he keeps most people at arm's length, warming to them very slowly.

Kash met Tsukiko while attempting a "dine and dash" in her restaurant. It was the same day he'd arrived in the city, and his hunger outweighed his normal cautious approach to theft. As he was trying to leave, Kash ran into Maru, Hazel, and Amaranth as they arrived for dinner. Tsukiko called out that he'd not paid for his meal and, in his desperation to escape, tried to shove Hazel, the smallest of the three men in front of him, out of the way. Hazel's lightning-fast reflexes and martial arts training kicked in and he easily subdued the smaller man.

The stress of hitch-hiking across the country combined with being caught made the young man break down when the person he was trying to steal from showed him kindness and, instead of calling the police, simply asked him why he was trying to steal from her, and he told them his story. Rather than turn him in for theft, Tsukiko took pity on him and offered him a room and a job. He cautiously accepted, at first worried that she or her friends were going to expect him to "service" them as had happened to so many of his old acquaintances from the streets. Working with Tsukiko and befriending her and the rest helped him turn his life around and give him the stability he never realized he wanted.

Kashmere was immediately taken by the handsome kitsune Kazuki, but his past kept him from trusting that the other's intentions were good at first. At Tsukiko's urging, he agreed to the initial date, not knowing that she was having Amaranth and Maru keep an eye on him and do a check on Kazuki to make sure he was safe. Initially distrustful because of his past, Kash warmed to Kazu more quickly than he did to most people, but it was still some time before he was comfortable with even relatively innocent physical intimacy like hand-holding. Kazuki was patient and understanding, and never put any pressure on the younger man to move faster than he was comfortable with. When Kash was finally ready, the two went away for a romantic weekend and when they came back, everyone noticed the new way they looked at each other, sat closer together, and always seemed to be holding hands or touching each other in some way.
