Okamiden however was just a huge disappointment.

i agree, though i've never played the first okami, i think it isn't good compared to what i've seen on regular okami.

are you saying you think okamiden isnt good compared to okami which you have yet to play?

yea. and i don't think i can play okami since it's rare.

when i first saw art of it and such, i thought it was a joke for a furry version of link. The none talkin main character and the following, tiny, annoying character. When i figured out it was a real game, i search for it for a year and finally found one in stores. I called ahead and had them save me and it took me 2 hrs to get to the city. i got lost on the way but after a half hr walk in the right direction, got to the store, bought, 2 and a half hr travel back home...

but so worth it.

hopefully, just hopefully i can find one.

Okamiden was pretty nice just nothing to improve the Okami story, also the DS got very limited power so the game was just less complex then the original. Mostly I was just happy they still have not forgoten Okami

You not only used all my favorite weapons in this, but the amount of details is just fantastic! The ink at the end of her tail, making the brush stroke for the Cherry Bomb, the designs for the sun and the reflector, the mountains in the background with that same feel from the game to them, and that fierce yet beautiful face of Ammy. Hell, even the symbols in the darkness are a nice touch! Fantastic!
I'm definitely favoriting this; not just because I love how you draw Ammy so wonderfully and all your art featuring her. ^_^
