Donta, you have just tore down a wall, the attention to details is mindblasting, it goes to show that you have improved quite alot, that sketch deserves to be plastified and treasured. Keep up the good work, your an inspiration to many artists such as myself. ^^

I wouldnt ask you to color it. it is pure beauty as it sits. the details are incredible. I beleive that adding to it any more would take away from what it already is. your artistry and beauty speak greatly of how you care for both me and Karuil. *hugs warmly, wrapping arms and tails around the gifted artist* as your heart guides your pencil and your mind drifts off to guide the dreams of those your heart touches, the smiles and love will flow and return to you as well. you cause smiles. you cause dreams. wonderous dreams. beautiful dreams. I dont know how, but I know they are from you. from your heart and soul. mabey just from your smile. but I am of the opinion that Dontamure is not enough for you... for you are Dontamure the dream maker. Dontamure the dream master. Dontamure, the bringer of light and joy. so much more then what you call yourself. what you show yourself to be is not just a simple artist and furry, but almost an angel, gifted with wisdom and skill to bring great joy to the hearts and minds of those you bless with your touch. I am eternaly greatfull for what gifts you have bestowed apon me. and this one.. this beauty... I feel I may need to get a print shop to do it justice. I feel I need to have it on paper. and I need to find and mill the right oak, or mabey cherry to make the proper frame for such art.

The pencil-sketched details look great in this pic, especially on the outfits. I especially like the exquisite and carefully drawn lineart on the jewelry/accesories on the dress the lady on the right is wearing (including the jewelry on her waistline and at the bottom edge of the dress).

The hairstyle, fluff on the cheeks, and ears of the lady on the left looks wonderful on the soft penciling lineart and highlighting to give it more of a shiny/silky texured look to it. I like how it looks like she has some slight muscular definition on her arms as well, given the lineart details on the fluff on her arms. :)

The background with the wooden panels looks well-drawn too, with the lineart strokes you drew into the texture of them to give them a more realistic look.

Finally, the way that the two characters are gazing into each others' eyes with affectionate expressions on their faces looks very sweet. I like pics that have that warm, loving theme/atmosphere to them. ^^ Great work, Donta!

Well, it's true! :) I'm always amazed at how much work and detail you put into traditionally sketched and colored pics, including this one.

I'm especially looking forward to when the pic you're working on for my character and  bhawkes' character is finished. I'm sure it'll look just as gorgeous as well! ^^

some insight into this. the muscles are partly because I (nina) am a swordsman (in character and in life) and I (the RL person) am also a military vet, a race car builder, and a carpenter. the affection in the picture is because I love Karuil. she is so close to me that I consider her to be family or more, even IRL. and the detail and beauty, are because of Donta's gift. the details in the eyes and the fur fluff are what drew me to Donta. and the beauty of soul is what made me love Donta as a person and not just an artist.

Ah, so since you're a military vet (that's awesome by the way, I didn't know that until now) and physically active in your jobs as a race car builder and carpenter, you had your character be athletically built as well to reflect your RL self somewhat. :) Also, that's very sweet that you have a very caring and loving relationship with Karuil.

With that in mind, Donta certainly has done a great job in drawing the two characters in the pic to reflect this as well, given the expressive warmth of their faces, especially their eyes. :)

I am just lucky to have Dontamure in my life. I love her a lot. and when I see such beautiful things as this.. I blush. every time I have looked at this I have blushed

Utterly incredible! No words can really describe how amazingly stunning this is! I cant help but just stare at its magnificence! Truly gorgeous, Donta. I love the fine detail from the jewels to the grain of the wood to the soft fur! Keep up this amazing work! I love it!
