Shading experiment. I did this by drawing the lineart on one layer, then the shadows on a lower layer in one solid colour, then the flat colours as a single “multiply” layer on top of all of them. I was also challenging myself to draw animal bodies that could conceivably stand as bipeds. Which… I achieved by having them sitting down. Uh. Sure!
