i learned about silhouettes and line tangents this week

do you ever look at your designs in silhouette? they all seem really clear and easy to read

Oh, sometimes when I'm done with a sketch I do try and review it as a silhouette. It really is a simple and effective way to get to know if the character has a clear direction in the pose.

you put a lot of red on the joints of that shark uo there, but you left the nose completely white, feels like he catched a cold or something XD

and i'm mesmerized, you can draw characters with very distinct feelings to each other (i mean... the middle row looks like it was done by three diferent artists with diferent styles XD)
