Here's my OC pony's new design. As you can see, she's quite happy about it!

I still haven't picked out a name for her as there aren't many writing-related terms that sound like pony names. That is, as it were, my special talent, hence the scroll-and-quill cutie mark.

This was drawn from a template; I'd credit the DeviantArt user properly, but his or her name wasn't on the image as I'd expected and I lacked the foresight to take the name down. If this is your template, my apologies, and you of course have my thanks.
