Na the town is pretty jaded at this point (weird farm out at the edge of town, the deserter of a beach stand, the odd guy that took his dog into a dressing room in the same mall, the mad ramblings of the the Animal Control officer, Tigertaurs hailing taxis, a lion that gets chased around town almost weekly by a wolf.) so only tourist really get shocked anymore. =P
Not any super leverage on Bells part. She upped the game by bringing mom in, after the chase with the gift from their last row she mistook it as Bill finally wanting this and his objections to it as nervousness to follow though (basically over baring parent trying to support her child with poor intel)
