This is not a response to anything, just going to make something clear 'cause my boyfriend thought it'd do some good =P - Catgirl's just a drawing I did just to give me something to do. A pose popped up in my mind that reminded me of something from one of my books. The image from the book was just a reference for a pose I wanted to draw.

I haven't seen a crafty anime style like this in a while, I remember when my style was exactly like this, then I morphed into what I am now, I bet I could still do something like this if I gave it a shot, all in all, this is a masterpiece in my book, and in my favs! Thank you for the GENUINE CERTIFIED ART!!!!
And when I said that when my style morphed into what it is now, I didn't meant that I'm better than you, I was just looking..well for something, more you could say...and then as the Final Fantasy games progressed, their character design did as well, I was so captivated by how real their faces looked, while still portrayed those anime like features, and chizzled faces, so that's what I went for, and now I'm there. Though your style does take me back to fun, fun, fun times! Keep it up Pixel dust!(by the way, clever "art" name)

Before you go off an a tangent over something that's just a coincidence, yes I have that book but I also have many other ones with similar poses. I have studied and still study these many times, I practice drawing the poses til I can do them from memory; I've got my own thing but it happens to look like a bunch of other people's. It's not unique, it doesn't stand out because alot of other people who draw anime and manga have the same style type but it doesn't mean it was traced or anything like that.
