AAAAAA yeah, might have been easier to complete digitally, but theres so many LAYERS and TEXTURES and SURFACES and UV and GLOW-IN-THE-DARK that digital just cant simulate.
Gonna draw Jolyn's pony again in a way that actually shows off the cutie-mark i had in mind for her XD (a snake wrapped around the TOOL wrench) XD
Figures are microns, solvent markers, UV paint, glow-in-the-dark paint, gel pens, and silver paint pen on cardstock, background is a pre-cut mat with magazine clippings behind that (all pretty durn UV-glowy) c:

Gorgeous! This IS very layered and textured, and honestly looks so much better traditional.

Maybe you could do that digitally, but you couldn't hold it after, or anything. I like this a lot more than if it was digital!

a TOOL themed rod of asclepius is a totally awesome and very fitting cutie mark for a silverwing pony! I would love to see that. x3 I agree about the use of real media too, digital is good for some things but the layering and different textures you can get with traditional is something that can't be replicated.
