Finally finished! This is skulldog's awesome character, the Illusion King, in his human form. It was made for fantasy-xchange's January round. January was a portrait round, so that's why I only painted his face.

I haven't painted a human in forever, so it was awesome to finally paint one again. I've been reading Andrew Loomis' books recently, and they've really helped me to draw better human faces! I still have a ways to go on human faces (especially making varied faces) but I'm slowly getting there. Hopefully with some more practice I'll get even better and even faster at them. :D

I hope you like it, skulldog! Sorry I'm late. Human portraits take me longer to finish than they should. D:
