force him? Not likely. He knows I'm a costume builder and writer. We host cancer fundraiser and customer appreciation barbques here at the house. He know all about mascots and furries. He had a 165 word vocabulary at 13 months. He does what he wants to do. We said we were going to a convention and he wanted to come. He came up with the name on his own when i asked what he wanted to be for Halloween. He said a blue wolf named Furlessaful.
Kids are smarter than most people give them credit for.
Trust me, you can't force a kid into stuff like this. If you try they will just get mad and never do anything of the sort. It's like trying to get a kid force a kid to listen to johnny cash. All it will do is make him hate him.
I now have two kids and they are both very different people. They have completely different interest and ways of dealing with the world around them.

And when he had to chose between camping with Nona and Poppa for a week or spending 3 days at a con that summer, he was really torn. He loves it. (This is his momma replying, trust me, if he didn't want to, there is no way, short of sitting on him, that you would get that suit on him)
