I got that expansion because I hoped it would allow me to play the game.... it turns out that Old Vic was casuing my game to lag to the point where it crashed... no problems though with the new version! It's been fun conquering the world as Germany(well parts of the world......) what I find funny is that america has had 3 revolutions over 2 decades, and the CSA is a great power.
well...your people get conscious about their environments when the press isn't controlled by the State, so I guess they figure out you sent a bunch of soldiers disguised as the enemy just to start a war against them, or that they know there's something morally wrong when you demand more territory for no particular reason

I kinda made GB released most of the possible nations. oh and same with russia, I just wanted to see what would happen... I also released Deseret from Mexico and the Kingdom of California. and Texas... but the CSA is independent! and my ally.... the GPs are(in orderof power)

I honestly don't ever go to war with the UK, since they're pretty powerful for a while, and even when you're above them they still have powerful allies as well
and normally i'm pretty scared to attack a GP, but i guess that's only reflective

that was a result of my war for Helgoland. I forced them to also release canada, because my allies the USA, Italy, and the rest of my SoI of course. I also got lucky and landed multiple armies in Britain before they could stop me. luckly they just had a revolution, so had no allies whatsoever. But I really got lucky, I was able to beat back any invasion, later I forced them to release Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, so really at this point, the british empire is a shadow of its former self, while I have twice everyone elses army(even france fully mobilized.)
Really, such a big war for Heligoland? I have to say its a rather smart move
If it involved the peruvians then I wouldve demanded territory, but then again strong powers rivaling that of Great Britain would most certainly be useful, especially if they're your allies

what's funny, earlier on in the game(while I was still uniting Germany) I thought france would collapse to anarchists, but they failed to take Paris, so they lost in the long run! I've also just added california and arizona to my German Empire. I also was the nation to build all 3 cannals! I got bored waiting for pannama, so I forced it into my sphere and become a puppet.
there really hasn't been a major war for a while, most of the GPs are too wary of provoking Germany, as I've made it a policy to make sure that the Status Quo is kept in europe as much as possible. I haven't had anyone actually invade germany since the War for Helgoland! which was at least 50 years ago.

all I've had was the Suez, after Egypt dared to leave my omnipotent sphere of influence. I decided to call my allies, and it turned out really well, with my taking the Dumyat and Palestine, Mexico taking Marsa Alam, Chile and Venezuela getting areas conencting those two as well. I guess I'm the reason there now exists a "south american" quarter in Egypt, but I hold no regrets

because of all of my reformes. everyone loved my Kaiser(after I became germany) so there was no revolts until the 1880s! it confused me why there weren't any revolts from the Polish peoples, who I had been opressing from the beginning of the game.
but I've had a hard time trying to prevent a communist uprising, because whenever I passa social reform. conservatives get about 25% more support(just to loose it when the upperhouse is reappointed.)

most likely since I had a liberal government for most of the game(once I got universal Sufferage) It allowed me to recover liberal upper house people.
I've done most of the game relying on my Capitalists to build factories... so that is why I'm reluctant to have a communist govenment... its hard building what you need to have to cope with demand. I've started building more than enough tanks to build primitive armor. maybe they should add in a decision if you have a big surplus of tanks, "Free Tanks for Everyone!" to give your people tanks for self defence! it would be funny to see what happens!
