Two random Ani-Gathier - a male and a female. Yes, females of this species are bewbless.

Thsi was a page from my sketchbook. I decided to color it because I needed a 'finalized' picture of these guys in my head before I started on the species sheet for them. I didn't really do any initial sketches of this species as they're an older species of mine and I've pretty much had their appearance down for years.

Intelligent, bipedal birds from the rainforest planet, Kalgea. They stand four feet tall and are covered in feathers. Their wings have evolved into arms, rendering the species flightless.

Since they may no longer fly through natural means like their hoatzin ancestors, they are near obsessed with flying through mechanical means and their status as mechanics, pilots, and shipwrights are near legendary.

Walking the path of science rather then spirituality, it is rare to see an Ani-Gathier that it is 'in tune' with the Lifestream (Known to them as 'The Achurnach'. Ani-Gathier with connections to the Lifestream do exist but are few and far between.

They are one of the eldest races in the Azure Wheel Galaxy and were one of the five original members of the Galactic Alliance. However, they don't behave as the other members of the 'elder races', having a more youthful attitude and outlook on life like the 'younger' races.
