This drawing dates back to 2002.

A conceptual sketch of a mecha character, codenamed 'Andrake', and the second of several prototype autonomous military robots. Built and engineered to stand at the same height as a human, and powered by an advanced autonomous intelligence patterned after real military soldiers; Andrake is armed with a plasma cutter (a type of energy blade) in its left hand, and wields a retractable grapple in its right.

Though a successful prototype, Andrake would ultimately turn against its creators and spark an international conflict, an apocalypse and nuclear winter, and its name would live in infamy in the myth and legends to follow.

But that is another story.
